Exe file won't start

Open brucenielson opened this issue 4 years ago • 5 comments

I've tried downloading and re-downloading the files and extracting them as expected, but for some reason the exe file just won't start no matter what I try. It asks for permission to load, and after that, nothing.

Thank you for reporting the bug.
I need more information.
Please tell me the language setting of your computer, the version of Windows, and the latest exception log output. (The folder with the exception log is in the directory where the exe file exists.)

The exe is not running for me either.

Windows 10 Pro 19041.804 English with netcoreapp 3.1 installed I cannot find any exception log

It's very strange that even the main process doesn't start up and there is no exception log output.
Something may be blocking the execution of the exe file.
It may be forgotten to unblock when unzipping the file.
There may also be a problem with the .NETCore runtime. Consider reinstalling the .NETCore runtime.

I think this is probably not a program issue, but an execution environment issue.

Try installing .NETCore @brucenielson

I had the same issue. nothing, but a pop up window, that's asking if I want to install .NET Core. Even though I have NET Core 3.1.32 installed. Maybe it's the wrong version?
