Feature Request: Startup Option

Open gregeeh opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

Hi,

Thanks for the great app and I have a suggestion.

For the tray version can we have an option/argument that will start the app minimized to the system tray. Would be very cool !

TIA

This is easy enough, make a shortcut to the application and drop it into your Startup folder. There are lots of ways to do this, just do a search for it or here..

https://www.bing.com/search?q=how%20to%20add%20apps%20to%20windows%20startup%20in%20windows%2010%20site:support.microsoft.com&form=B00032&ocid=SettingsHAQ-BingIA&mkt=en-US

Just close the main window after it startups up and it will still be open in the system tray. There IS actually a way you can change any app to ONLY start up in the SYS tray without opening the main window but I don't remember how.

You can pass --tray start-in-tray to nativefier for it to start minimized in tray.

I'm not sure how to do that.
