FAilure when cloning an apk

Cloning works fine without any errors. But when trying to install i get following error

Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_DUPLICATE_PERMISSION: Package com.XYZ_v2.app attempting to redeclare permission com.XYZ.permission.READ_COMMON_PREFERENCES already owned by com.XYZ.app]

I tried changing the information in manifest.xml into XYZ_v2. After that i could install the app but when open it on the phone it closes without any error shown.
