Cannot resolve collation conflict in SQL Server 2008

Description: RESTException: Remote exception caused by GenericException: Cannot resolve the collation conflict between "Latin1_General_CIAS" and "SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS" in the equal to operation.

Context:

  • DBPTK Desktop: Operative System name and version
  • Windows version 2.5.10
  • DBPTK Enterprise: Browser name and version (Internet explorer, Chrome, Firefox, etc)

Steps required to reproduce the bug:

  1. Connect to SQL Server 2008 R2
  2. Try to import SQL Server database

Hi,

Searching the error message it seems that you have different collations. DBPTK doesn't cope with this kind of situation.

You could see if this is the case and normalize the collations across the database or create a custom view to archive the data and resolve the collation via query.
