Linux, Windows: Group panel sometimes reduces to the minimum size

Brief Summary
On my Windows desktop (~~but not on my two Linux Mint laptops~~ EDIT: and on at least one of the Linux laptops), the divider between the folders - the subentries of 'KeePass', on the left of the screen - is reset every so often (at least after every reboot) too far to the right.
Here is how I want things to look and have, by moving the divider, set things to look:
Here is the sort of situation (manually re-created) to which the program reverts:
Steps to Reproduce
- Open the KeePass window. If the slider is not position well - i.e. so as to keep truncation of text on the left low, and/or in the position one left the slider - move the slider.
- Reboot the computer (gracefully).
- Open the KeePass window. See that the slider is positioned badly.
Expected Versus Actual Behavior
I expected the slider to be well positioned, well 'well positioned' means (1) where I last placed it or, failing that, at least (2) in a position that little truncates text to the left.
What actually happened: the slider moves from where I put it, and, now, it truncates text.
