iOS: OTP Autofill broken

Open Querschlag opened this issue 7 months ago • 1 comments

OTP stored in keepass database is no longer suggested as autofill after login. Previously it was possible to fill it in using the suggestion atop of the keyboard on iOS.

How to reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Have a password entry for a website + OTP stored in keepass database
  2. Login using Keepassium Autofill
  3. When redirected to OTP input page select input field for the code.

Expected behavior The suggestion bar of the keyboard should present an option to fill in the OTP code.

Thank you. This started with iOS 18.5 and does not reproduce on earlier iOS versions, so looks like a system bug.

As a workaround, there is the old workflow: KeePassium settings → AutoFill Passwords → Copy OTP to Clipboard → turn it on. Now, whenever you autofill an entry, you will find its OTP (if any) in clipboard, so you can paste it to the appropriate field.
