Suggestion: check for AUR packages that have become official

Sometimes, packages graduate from the AUR. In this case, it would be nice to receive a suggestion to replace the AUR with the official package. How much can go wrong?

On the other hand, maybe it is possible to handle expelled packages, or does pacman warn about that?

At first glance I don't see an easy/fast way to do this. Pacman does not track where a package came from - there is no way to know if a package was installed from -S officially or customized with -U. The same things causes problems with expired packages.

It would be possible if pacmatic cached old versions of the official package lists but this could get messy. Let me think about it.
