Show annotations under the task (default view of taskwarrior)

Open zangman opened this issue 3 years ago • 9 comments

Description

Apologies if this is already available in a config setting but I couldn't find it. Is there a way to enable annotations to show up under the task similar to the taskwarrior default view? I find that more convenient than keeping the info panel open.

That's a neat idea, I'll look into it. Thanks for opening a feature request!

would be a great improvement for me as well!

for me, too - it's much more concise than having to open the info panel first

Wait for it too.

Any update on this? 🙏

Thanks for the ping!

The update is that there are a few other things that needed to happen for this issue that have happened in the background (e.g. multi-line rows, which I believe is now available, I just have to update the table view to take advantage of that). I should do a better job of updating issues to track tangential developments.

Also, I’m still working through a backlog of issues in other projects but I’ll prioritize this once I get back to it. Maybe in the next few weeks? No promises though :)

I do need to refactor parts of this project which is long overdue and I’m hoping to close a number of issues during that process.

damm that was fast! I'm still playing around, and actually filtering context is a bit more important than this 😂 (for now 🙈)

Came here after searching for a way to have the default tw view of annotations in tw-tui. I like the idea of OP to have it as an option rather than forcing it for someone who doesn't wish to see annotations in the output. Any progress anyone ? 🙏

I'm chugging away at refactoring the code when I get time to work on this, which hasn't been a lot unfortunately. This will probably happen in tandem with a full refactor, which is still ongoing (there's a draft PR open for this).

Maybe I'll find time during Christmas break? :)
