dev_item UUID does not match fsid
I want to find out, if the following error can be solved. The data on the SSD can be restored, if everything is trashed so be it.
Doing this or any other possible BTRFS command:
btrfs check --readonly /dev/sdb2
Getting always that:
Opening filesystem to check... ERROR: dev_item UUID does not match fsid: 2f5717f8-09e6-44b1-a836-a9eb8238efc4 != 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 ERROR: superblock checksum matches but it has invalid members ERROR: dev_item UUID does not match fsid: 2f5717f8-09e6-44b1-a836-a9eb8238efc4 != 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 ERROR: superblock checksum matches but it has invalid members No valid Btrfs found on /dev/sdb2 ERROR: cannot open file system
Story behind: I set up a NVME with five BTRFS in an extended partitions. Set up Linux Mint 21 Mate, Linux Mint 21 Cinnamon, Linux Mint LMDE 5 plus two partitions with Linux Mint 20.3. Every installed OS runs perfectly. Found some minor bugs related to the OSs, but not to BTRFS.
Then I tried to copy a Btrfs partition from a SSD to the NVME with gparted. The copy process worked, but then gparted tried to extend this specific partition from 64GB to 69GB. Don't know why, it stopped with an error.
Second attempted, but stopped with message identical UUID. Formatted the NVME partition, but still the same message popped up.
Third attempt was to change the UUID on the SSD, but see the errors above.
Big question; Is there a possible way to fix it?
same problems here.
details here i've been chatting @ #btrfs on libera about
cause: shitty external bay failing in the middle of a raid 1 rebalance and/or a btrfstune -u :''')
i know the mistakes i made, drives are now connected internally. they seem unharmed in terms of hardware.
have tried: check, restore*, rescue* (including super-recovery), repair, find-root, tune* (including -U)
the only thing that seems to actually give me any real output is list-internal

this is a 3 disk raid 1, i had just added the third disk which is why rebalance.
fwiw testdisk shows wrong disk size (14TB/12TB)
