Is dockutil capable of adding apps to a static-apps array in the plist so they are not removable?

Currently no. Is static-apps what a managed dock mobileconfig profile adds?

Yea a profile would lock the apps but I believe with that method it’s all or nothing as in only whats on the profile is in the dock and it can’t be changed.

I’m trying to a hybrid where only some apps are locked on the dock and the rest are customizable.

Currently I achieve this by building a pkg on techion for those apps I want locked and dockutil the rest. Upon inspection of the plist it appears the techion pkg places those apps in a static-app array.
