Max Payne 2 Bug?

I'm not sure anything's wrong here. From the comparison, that room doesn't seem to have reverb with ALchemy either (there's some weird effect going on, but it seems to be from being downmixed to stereo for the recording and not specific to that room). At least, that's the best I can figure. There's nothing wrong in the logs (aside from the game not using EAX efficiently, resetting the listener EAX properties with every buffer update and prematurely committing changes, but I don't think I've seen a game yet that doesn't do something inefficiently like that), and it's not doing anything particularly complex. Nothing stands out as incorrect properties being set.
#134 should have improved something, even though https://github.com/kcat/dsoal/issues/139#issuecomment-3595154931 (for all the atrocious level of clarity) reports that it's still not up to the pre-rewrite standards.
