Still seeing YouTube ads after installing this

Hi,

I did everything as you said in your README and I also installed it in crontab, but I am still seeing YouTube ads on every video...

How does this come?

Same. This list is doing nothing for me.

the last update to black.list was 2022 Jan 24, so chances are you're still seeing ads because this hasn't been updated to cover the ads that you're getting.

Same, added 17k domains to my blacklist but still getting served ads sadly

AdBlock works fine, but it's sad you can't do it with just this DNS hack...

YouTube ads are difficult/impossible to block at the DNS level. You need a browser based (or maybe system wide?) blocker (i.e. uBlock Origin, AdGuard).
