Does this still work / is it active?

I haven't been using it of late honestly, but it was working last i checked. Have you run into any issues?

I just got it working. Thanks for this. Not sure if this was because of me doing something wrong, but I had to change the dependency on gem 'rails_log_stdout'. I changed 'git://github.com/threadedlabs/rails_log_stdout.git' to 'git://github.com/ahawkins/rails_log_stdout.git'.

I will submit a pull request if required.

I bet we could just remove that gem.  I think that's no longer required on heroku.

Awesome. I am not planning to use it on heroku anyway, but I will let you know if there are any issues. Do you have any usage restrictions on the code?
