Android 8 Badge is not showing in application

Hi all,

Badge is not showing in Android 8 version device Plugin Info : "cordova-plugin-badge": "^0.8.8", cordova version : 8.0.0 ionic Info: Ionic:

ionic (Ionic CLI) : 4.1.2 (C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\npm\node_modules\ionic) Ionic Framework : ionic-angular 3.8.0 @ionic/app-scripts : 3.0.1

Cordova:

cordova (Cordova CLI) : 8.0.0 Cordova Platforms : android 6.3.0 Cordova Plugins : no whitelisted plugins (16 plugins total)

System:

Android SDK Tools : 26.1.1 (C:\UsersAppData\Local\Android\Sdk) NodeJS : v8.11.2 (C:\Program Files\nodejs\node.exe) npm : 6.9.0 OS : Windows 10

Probably because your launcher doesn't support ShortcutBadger. Any movement on fixing this yet? This is a kind of critical issue.

Any update on this as we are having the same issue? Is there a way to modify the APK generated by PhoneGap and add the native Android calls for badges?
