@katzer hello katzer .I am doing a timer application. The application switches to background mode, the system advances the time behind, but after 5 minutes the system stops and does not progress.

Hello, try using this plug-in https://bitbucket.org/TheBosZ/cordova-plugin-run-in-background/src/master/. It is a fork of this project.
