Is the capability present to specify user credentials when running the ZAP scan to allow for testing various users?

This is a great plugin but for us also we would need to be able to actually login to our applications in order to run a scan. Is there a way to do this or a feature that might be added?

I'm back revisiting this and wanted to check if there is a way to login to the application before scanning. It looks like not but wanted to check if I am missing something.
