Thanks for reporting. This is very weird, because disabling of monitoring should allow NewPipe to circumvent the TrackerControl VPN altogether.

You could be right. The categorisation is taken from Firefox/Disconnect.me, so it's nothing that I come up with. However, I'll leave this open to gauge how many people are affected.
