build fails with chown permission error of tarball

Trying to compile my own as debian bullseye is not in the prebuilt releases builder/build-package debian bullseye

...But mostly through the build after compilation (in the container) I get this error

-- Installing: /tmp/kasmvnc-build.XHcT5i/inst/usr/local/share/man/man1/kasmxproxy.1
Built target servertarball
chown: changing ownership of '/tmp/kasmvnc.debian_bullseye.tar.gz': Operation not permitted

I assume that error is related tarball inside the container? Is that mapped to to the build/ host folder? That folder is owned by the host user who ran the build script and that user is in the docker group.

Anyway, what's the fix for that?

BTW, i'd suggest you just add debian bullseye to your prebuilts and maybe drop ubuntu bionic at this point if building too many prebuilts is an issue.

sudo builder/build-package debian bullseye

We actually already have the pipelines setup for bullseye, that was an oversight. we will get the build published after we fix the pipeline
