This proposal is different enough that it may make sense to have it be entirely different project to this, but probably many of the bindings can be reused.

@rthomasv3 thank you, and this is great. But I'm proposing a different route altogether, which is to use "Native AOT", where C# runs without a runtime.

I realize this isn't going to get done since it's not a priority. Got no issues with that. But has anyone yet forked this repo and added the PRs mentioned...
