Hello.

When I'm generating splash and flashing it, dd tool says that there is not enough space in splash block. I think it's happening because my bmps file size (7,22 MB each) more than original splash bmps size (6,67 MB each) How do I save my bmps, so their file size will be exactly 6.67 MB each?

Open photoshop -> open the $.bmp file and edit it -> save as .bmp -> save as 24 Bit $.bmp file

Sorry for not replying. I'm using Redmi Note 7 (this phone have same screen resolution as Redmi Note 7 Pro) and Photoshop 2020. I'm searching for solution for one month. I'm saving splashes as 24 bit .bmp with 1080x2340 (72ppi) resolution, but output file is still more than 6.67 MB. What photoshop you're using and what parameters you're using when saving splashes?

Photoshop version doesn't matter. If u add some HD pics or something like that on your splash.bmp file, then the file size will increase and because of that splash will get corrupted.

[LET ME KNOW YOUR]

Your file size after saving file as bmp. You got what output after flashing the recovery.img or flashing as zip.

Ok, so file size after saving is 7.22 MB (each + header.img + end.img = recovery.img size around 67MB/64MB max) When flashing it says "No space left on device", no matter after flashing as zip or flashing .img using dd tool. After restarting, boot splash just have bunch of glitches. I'm not adding many hd pics to bmp. Do you have some kind of video tutorial?
