Need Help Building from Source

Hi, I really like this project and would love to contribute but had difficulty building it from source. I tried about 5 releases and almost all failed (ffmpeg -> gradle build step) , I am not sure if I am doing anything wrong but it will be of great help if there is any document/guide for installing from source.
