Rename group description to group information

The ways groups use the "description" field is usually more like information for the people in the group. They put things like links to other places (e.g. google docs, facebook groups, website info, etc...).

It would seem useful to make two changes:

  • rename the field description -> information
  • add a menu item in the left sidebar for accessing it

I would love to resolve this issue. This is my first contribution to an open-source project if someone could point me in the right direction to get started that would be awesome!

Hey @jalvarez302, and welcome! It would be worth having a look at our How to get involved! page, which will give you an overview of the whole project.

Maybe then a good idea to head over to our chat and chat a bit more, can find out about your skills, interests, and motivations (avoiding filling up this issue with that).

Hey @linalex1 I worked on this and I realized I missed a few changes requested, thanks for bringing this to my attention! I'll try to work on these in the next two days, if I'm unable to complete them in that time, I'll let you know.

Great, thanks! I've been a bit slow with it too, but nearly there :) Once the frontend is ready, the backend part is all ready to go if I remember correctly :)
