Highlight Lost After Staging
Greetings! I've been using this in vscode for the past day or so and I love it! Great work!
One thing that I've noticed, however, is that when I stage changes the highlight styling goes away. Atom preserves styling until the files are committed, and I think it would be awesome if that could be supported here too.
I have created a Gist that takes care of that. There is a PR that this repo's owner never merged that made several improvements. From his fixes, I made my own fixes.
So if you would like to have this working a lot better, check out my gist: https://gist.github.com/WadeShuler/1637073371ad126779076344c34278f3
Right now, the staged file is red. You can change the color by editing the hex at the top of my fix. I am not sure what to do about the parent directories highlighting on a staged file though. If you have a new file, the parent should be "green", if you have an edited file, the parent directory "yellow". However, what if you have a new/edited file AND a staged file? Should the parent dir be red, yellow, or green? lol. At least it takes care of the file highlighting itself.
Regardless, my Gist is an improvement to anything I have found.
