Is this project still maintained? If yes, could you make a new release here on GitHub?

I'm also wondering what the status of this project is. I have written some loose scripts of mine that are meant for "generic" metadata removal (mostly focused on shrinking the files by removing metadata), but I may (in the medium to long term) start dealing with watermarks.

A statement about the current status of the program (and a release) would be awesome.

There has been no maintenance activity. I haven't been able to find any new contributors. Pull requests welcome.
