Pathnames using incorrect slash

Open Gitoffthelawn opened this issue 7 years ago • 2 comments

In Windows (and DOS), the backslash (\) is used to separate elements in a pathname.

Currently, quickviewer is using the forward-slash (/) in the left side pane, which is backwards.

  1. In Qt, the standard of the separator is a slash (/)
  2. When QuickViewer saves the path in the ini file, the separator is unified with slash (/)
  3. In other cases I have not decided, but I think that slash (/) is easier to read the path than back-slash (\), so it sometimes appears on the screen

I agree with your opinion :) I would like to ask other people's opinions.

Well, as long as this is only cosmetic, and does not influence functionality in any way...
