TV Auth Logins (e.g. DIRECTV) Not Working (New Window/Tab Support?)

What is the current behavior?

Visiting a site that offers a TV provider login doesn't work. For instance going to CNN or Fox News and trying to login with DIRECTV credentials doesn't work since that TV provider opens a new window to finalize the login and auth process. Within Pennywise clicking the "DIRECTV" link simply does nothing.

Expected behavior

I would expect clicking a link that opens a new window (either via javascript or using _blank href target attribute) to open a new tab or window within the Pennywise framework that allows me to authenticate my TV provider credentials so the appropriate licenses/cookies/tokens are properly set on the website I'm attempting to watch video on.

URL attempting to access

Cnn.com or FoxNews.com watching live tv on either. The login process to TV provider is not allowing me to see the new window when I click DIRECTV as TV provider.
