Node.js isn't a programming language

Yes, and no? Node isn't a programming language, but the Node runtime (or Deno...) is the only way you can write server-side JavaScript code, so the distinction makes sense. It's almost always listed as a separate skill in job postings, so it's not as if it's out of left-field.
