Kamon high cpu usage

Now and then when I collect thread-dumps or monitor CPU usage, I see Kamon is running some regex. Do you why this happens? Pictures of my recording is attached.

This happens every time a new actor is created and matched with the filters inside of kamon.instrumentation.akka.filters. It should only happen when actors are created, though.

Are you creating a ton of actors all the time and/or have a bunch of patterns on your filters configuration? Those are the only reasons I think this might be happening.
