Hi! Thanks for the MR. Can you put a description on what are the changes for, why they are relevant and any matrix spec links that talk about this new synapse client path? Thanks!

This is from official matrix/synapse config, as the image has changed to also be /client and /_synapse

Synapse is a Homeserver, while this is an Identity Server. They have very different usages and simply don't deal with the same data / usage. Is there is a specific reason to include these for an identity server?
