HLS playback fails when using the master playlist

The stream https://cdn.vpplayer.tech/agmipobm/rVH24x7sVcNq2WDW5dL4Sw==,7991601123/fly/uploads/bda97061a9ce4f6d89a3b9482a550bb4/file/master.m3u8 fails to play when using the master playlist on any known hls media player, but plays if we use dhe media playlist https://cdn.vpplayer.tech/agmipobm/rVH24x7sVcNq2WDW5dL4Sw==,7991601123/fly/uploads/bda97061a9ce4f6d89a3b9482a550bb4/file/index.m3u8.

Do you guys have any idea why this may be happening?
