Getting this error in console: Uncaught TypeError: l.default.span is not a function

The animations works perfectly on localhost, but when I try to deploy it- I get this error and the site breaks

I am getting the same issue. It took way too long to find out this package is what broke the production site. Why does it work on localhost dev but prod build fails? Did anyone find a solution yet?
