Question

I'm experiencing the same issue reported in #1828 and see @kalessil recently responded https://github.com/kalessil/phpinspectionsea/issues/1823#issuecomment-1091753358 effectively stating that for the foreseeable future this project is unsupported and will remain so as long as "The engineers maintaining project are from UA and they have other priorities ATM" - which we absolutely get in reference to a FOSS project.

However, the ultimate subscription is not FOSS, it is, in it's own words, "A commercial Code Review and Static Code Analysis tool based on Php Inspections (EA Extended). " It also points to this repository as the place to get support.

1. Is it unreasonable to expect EA to provide ongoing support for the commercial project they have sold us?
2. If it isn't unreasonable, where can we expect to find that support if not here?

After 15 months without a release and no support for PHP 8 specific features (which is the only currently supported major version) I'd say this project is dead, and subscriptions should be cancelled. (And yes, I do support UA, but through other ways - after all, this is a paid product, and not an Ukraine Support Fonds)
