Voting Opt-out
I think that we should be able to opt-out of voting for those who are concerned about being less popular than others
It seems to me that with the sorting and such, if someone doesn't want to be voted on they are better off not being on the list at all (so perhaps a "delete account" option would make more sense). Having no/low votes vs not being voted on seems like would sort the same way (bottom of the list).
Agreed. But there might be some (e.g. Alan Storm) that would want to remove themselves as they joined prior to the voting being added. Maybe instead of building the functionality just some wording somewhere that they should contact Kalen to be removed?
Again, to be fair, Alan never joined explicitly. I believe he was a special case.
I agree that "deleting" your account might be an eventual feature but in this case I'm suggesting that opting out of voting is an intermediary step and is a relatively light lift to implement.

There were like two accounts I added myself for Ben, Alan, and someone else. I've stopped doing that though and instead I'll check with them first to see if they mind being added (like Colin).
Opting out of voting just doesn't seem to make sense to me. Don't know what the UI would look like.
Not saying I'm 100% closed to it. But I'm 99% closed to it :)
