Would it be possible to have version tags ?

Hello, i am maintaining a compute cluster, and i had to install kaldi on it recently, it would be very helpful if version tags were added to this repository, to allow pinning an installation to a specific version for reproducibility reasons.

I pinned my installation to a specific commit, but it would be way more convenient if version tags were added.
