Override adv/disadv based on character Conditions (ex: Poisoned causes disadvantage)
I have a rouge that has advantage on initiative and became poisoned in our last game. When I tried to use ALT to remove my advantage roll for INIT, it still rolled with advantage.
I am gaining this by having a Shortbow of Warning. I did find that if I unequipped the bow and reequipped it that seemed to fix the issue. So minor issue.
special equipped adv/disadv (such as shortbow of warning, ranger class feature, wearing heavy armor, etc..) will always override the roll type that gets set in the setting. The alt/shift/ctrl only override the setting. The use case of poisoned/blinded/etc.. which would affect attacks/ability checks with adv/disadv is interesting, I don't know if Beyond20 should handle that.
DND Beyond does not seem to correctly address conditions that affect skills and attacks either. I think that they should address them and then Beyond 20 can leverage that someday.
Thank you for the reply
I don't know if this change a thing at all, but I'd love to see that handle too eventually! :)
