Homework 4 is out / Grading policy for homework 1 is updated

Hello, we have several announcements on the homework.

1. Homework 4 is out.

Now you can start working on homework 4 and make submission to gg.

Note that it has same deadline (2024-04-21 23:59:59) as announced earlier.

Even though its deadline is after the midterm, it will be included in the midterm scope, so I recommend you to do it before the midterm.

2. Grading policy for homework 1 is updated.

Initially, we didn't allow any partial points for cache in homework 1.

Considering the difficulty of implementing nonblocking cache, we decided to give partial scores to implementations of blocking cache.

Note that those who already submitted hw1 need not worry about this update in grading policy, as your previous submissions are not affected by this update (resubmission is needed only if you want to get partial points from cache).
