Cannot open files of this type

For some odd reason I'm not able to open .md or .markdown files. Any ideas?

If it is still not working, could you restart your system, then try right-click _Open With_ and see if MarkOff (1.0.1) is now registered in the menu.

Previous version of Markoff (1.0.0) worked for me. I'm using Markoff from App Store and haven't done any additional modifications.

These files I try to open are usual md files. I've tried to open different files and had the same error. Markoff is running without problems. Just can't open any files.

OS: El Capitan 10.11.4

This is a serious bug for a Markdown file viewer to have ...!

Same problem here - installed from AppStore - While the .md extension is registerd, and it is in the OpenWith menu, you get a dialog with:

The document “README.md” could not be opened. Markoff cannot open files of this type.

I checked the plist file inside the App bundle as installed, and that looks right to me... but something is clearly off.
