Footnotes support

Need support for footnote syntax like this:

Clicking this number[^1] will lead you to a footnote.

[^1]: Handy! Now click the return link to go back.

Unless this becomes part of cmark, I have no current plans for implementing these extensions myself. Current discussion about footnotes: http://talk.commonmark.org/t/how-should-footnotes-behave/1106

I am thinking about adding the ability to choose your own markdown parser, but that will take some time to add.
