One CPU Core on 100% with IRC channel window opened

Hi,

when an IRC channel chat-window is open and your shell-extension is enabled, pidgin consumes 100% CPU of one core. Closing the channel chat window solves this, but that's not the sense of being in an IRC-Channel ;)

Disabling the extension also solves this... but it's almost perfect and I'd like to use it ;)
