Crashes SystemUI on exit

When exiting the app via "swiping it away" in the recent apps/app switcher view, I get a popup saying SystemUI has stopped working and get kicked back to the lock screen. This only happens for Squeezer, I've never seen another app do this. Screenshot_20240905-122229

This may be device or android version specific, I would expect to see an existing issue otherwise.

App Version: 2.3.6 Device: Sony Xperia 1 (J8110) Android version: 11 Build number: 55.2.A.4.332

If there's anything I can add to make this easier to work out, just let me know. I don't get the option to take a bug report on the SystemUI crash.
