I personally prefer Option1, because then it is obvious that all optional parameters are handled the same. I am a F# guy though.

Closing this for now, thanks for the feedback. The C# API will go with Option #1

should we maybe add this to `Plotly.NET.Interactive` for now (also making `Plotly.NET.Interactive` dependent on `Plotly.NET.CSharp` in the process), to have all in the same place? When this works for F#...

@ianfoster99 that sounds like something that should/must be implemented in the base js library https://github.com/plotly/plotly.js/ , maybe you could open an issue there
