Since I setup the prom pushgateway finally, I could after my k8up is working again (#859), start documenting the metrics that are teased in the docs.
@ Someone from the team: If you give me acceptance criteria I will happily fulfill them. If you see it as in scope I would even add an example Grafana Dashboard optionally to the Helmchart.
A very very quick and dirty dashboard I experimented with can be seen here:
In the upcoming days (depending on the rest of my life weeks maybe), I will refine this dashboard along with the docs.

Can you open a PR with the files? I think the best place for them would be /config/samples/prometheus where also some other prometheus related examples reside.
@Kidswiss If you desire I could add that to the HelmChart even. Make it disabled per default of course so nothing breaks in "stock" deployments.

@Kidswiss 2.9 still has no monitoring section. I would still love to get acceptance criteria from you for what I can contribute there. It might take me a while to do it (lol a year for an already written Grafana Dashboard) but I will eventually get there. This project is really a cornerstone of my infrastructure and although I am running this privately I would love to give something back.

Hello, Does it only require to activate serviceMonitor to be able to visualize the dashboard ? I activated it but I get no data scraped (using helm chart 4.8.1)
