What do some of the cheats actually do?

Playing this again for weeks and only just noticed there's a cheat menu. I could figure out some of them through trial and error and had to look up others in the source code and I'm still not sure what everything does exactly.

Perhaps it would be cool to give the menu entries better names so normal users can understand what they do?
