Cannot access mnpp.local or phpmyadmin.local

Open tanpet opened this issue 12 years ago • 5 comments

Good day,

I installed MNPP on Lion but cannot get to mnpp.local or phpmyadmin.local. I'm using Chrome and get either 'website is unavailable' or 'Google could not access ...'.

Based on other threads I read, I have set the environment with 'sudo sh /Applications/MNPP/init/environment.sh'. The hosts file already has 127.0.0.1 for both mnpp.local and phpmyadmin.local

Can anyone suggest any solutions?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @tanpet

Do you have run mnpp and specificlly nginx? try typing with

$ netstat -a -p tcp -n

Can you copy and paste nginx logs here?

I tried starting the services individually in Terminal. When I started Percona I got 'Starting MySQL Percona Server' then lots of .......... I eventually quit Terminal and got an error about the inability to update PID file (/tmp/mysql/mysql.pid). This file does not exist.
