Sounds not packaged in ELPA

The .wav files in sounds are not included in the chess elpa package version 2.0.4.

The reason might be : the repository used for packaging for ELPA is (I guess) http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/emacs/elpa.git/log/?h=externals/chess AIUI, the ELPA repository and this one have diverged a few years ago.
