How does this work?
Can anyone explain or link to a tutorial? This software doesn't seem to do anything.
Anyone? It says "Spytify cannot record if it doesn't use the same audio endpoint device than Spotify. See the online F.A.Q. to know how to move Spotify towards another device."
There is no explanation for this error in the FAQ.
Don't get me wrong, but the error says exactly, what is the problem. Along with spytify you install the virtual cable audio output. You have to set both spytify to listen to and Spotify to play using this virtual cable device. Spytify cannot record if they use different audio endpoint devices.
The error doesn't say how to do any of that and there is no tutorial to be found either.
Regardless, it wasn't the issue. I found out that this software only works if you press play in Spotify BEFORE you press start in Spyfy.
So now it does work but the result is pretty bad. The volume of the recorded song is so low that even if I put my speakers to maximum it's just background level.
