Virtual Audio Cable not producing good sound quality

So I use virtual audio cable to record my playlist, and it is not giving good quality. It keeps getting interrupted or something.

Just open the Spotify app and record

If you are using spotify free, you are limited to 160kpbs. I output to WAV and then re-encode from there, seems to give me the best quality, but you do lose all the tagging for album art etc.
