Can't record while using Spotify API

I followed the guide for Spotify API to get better metadata, and when I press [START], a browser window opened to confirm permission. I think it's normal, but everytime I start recording, I need to do it again (confirm perrmission).

But, when I switch to Spotify API, in-app log is stuck at "Spying" and no show "Recording", also not actually recording music.

I really need help with this.

I have the Same issue. With the Spotify API, Spytify only keeps spying. With the LastFM api, it records.

I think it was a spotify glitch, because it works normally again.

My issue with the S-API is that it never fills in GENRE in my Track Details. Has anyone else noticed this bug?

With Spotify API I can record just fine, but need to confirm permission every time I run Spytify. Is it normal behavior?
