playitslowly cannot loop ?

Playitslowly on Linux installs and works except for a large python bogus empty window that opens together with the playitslowly interface. I cannot find how to loop a sound clip. Playitslowly just plays the clip with no way to loop. I have to use the back button every time.

I am sure it can loop but see no button to do so.

It would e nice to have this application loop as I cannot use timestretch as it has lots of interruptions and is erratic. Even on a 24 core 32GB Ram machine. Playitslowly works great except it cant loop.

Just select the Start Position and End Position and it'll loop. At least it works like that here.

Nope doesnt work here. I did exactly that, but then it plays once and then plays the same duration with absolutely no sound and then stops. No looping just peculiar behavior. What is with the big python blank screen that comes up together with the application.? I have to keep the blank python screen open else the application doesnt work at all.

I must say python apps give me the most trouble. Not a good language, I feel sorry for the app developers. Not their fault. You get lured in by the ease of development, then get hammered by these erratic behavior.

I don't have that here. What version of playitslowly have you got? How did you install it?

I'm using a git clone compile from master. Are you able to build from that and check if there is difference?
