It would be nice to have a dupd package available on most platforms.

As of today, there is a FreeBSD port and also a MacPorts package. See http://www.virkki.com/dupd/ for links to the ones I know about.

If you use dupd and are familiar with the process of creating a package on your favorite platform and would like to help out, please do!

Note that dupd has been packaged for NixOS: https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/blob/master/pkgs/tools/misc/dupd/default.nix. So after installing nix one can install dupd using nix-env -i dupd.
